You want someone with an edge, watch John Olivier.
I prefer Laurence.

but his political banter is **** :P

Seriously though, back in the day I used to watch John Stewart and Stephen Colbert daily, while eating dinner after coming back from work. It was a fun hour of news and entertainment. But as all good things, it didn't last.

John Oliver filled this gap, and he did it well.

And now all of his disciples have split off into their own gigs. The Daily Show diaspora.

When Jon Stewart said something it had much more impact than, say, Samantha Bee, or even Colbert now.

Think Stewart is my favourite of the lot.

Frownland 03-13-2018 08:45 PM
Ja Jon Stewart is far and away the best of all of them. Oliver does the best reporting though.

Goofle 03-14-2018 05:01 AM
Oliver also the best actor.
