It's the only show I know of, and I highly doubt there were any ever others that came before it, that isnt scripted. I think its incredibly original, especially for a sitcom. Not everyone will get Larry Davids sense of humour though and as Kevorkian said it is a very particular brand of humour. If anything I would say that the Brits stand a better chance of getting into it than the Americans do. Were probably more used to very dry, sarcastic and often bitter humour and Larry David is all the above in Curb. I just love how he can get himself into so much ****, so many uncomfortable situations, get **** on from a very great height in pretty much every episode and make countless enemies yet when you think about it there are probably only one or two instances where he's been in the wrong.

Getting slightly off topic I guess but I definitely reckon I'm gonna try and reinvent that other thread.

EDIT: Actually were not, are we? Considering you said Curb was over-rated. Good stuff.

Meh. I get dry humor. I'm from the northeast, dry humor is part of the culture there. I'm just not that crazy about Curb Your Enthusiasm. Sometimes it's funny but a lot of the time I just find Larry David annoying. I think I like him better as a writer than an actor.

Not sure if anyone has already said but, Grey's Anatomy is not everything it's said to be. How many doctor shows can you have before it starts to get old? Throw in their own personal problems at the workplace and it just gets wayy too familiar.

I have a thing against Seinfeld also.
Jerry Seinfeld is just annoying as heck.
