They are two completely different movies with different moral stances.
AN is from the point of view of one man, while SPR is from the point of view of a group. AN has an anti war stance and SPR has a patriotic one, however they both have a great, disorienting feel that puts you in the right state of mind to see things from a soldier's point of view, well, no war movie will EVER give you a real idea of what it's like, but I think these come close better than any other war movie. Your preference will probably be influenced by your political point of view. |

I liked Bridget Jones' Diary and I like Renee Zelweger in everything she does.
Curtis is more of a writer though, he only has two directing credits. Bridget Jones isn't one of them. |
