It was a favorite of mine growing up. Unfortunately my copy was destroyed when my parents' house flooded in my teens and I haven't seen it since then.

I love the movie. I have the soundtrack and original poster that came with the movie. I got it on dvd, and watched it sometime around Halloween. Its funny because my friends came over while it was on and they had no idea what it was and it confused them very much. Needless to say they clearly don't have the best of music taste.

I haven't watch it in a while since I only own it on VHS.

but all I can remember is The Trial scaring the **** out of me.

I used to watch it with my sister all the time. It's a great movie, very vivid with lots of strong images and some pretty great music. Although I don't know how much of a fan I am of Roger Waters. I think I heard somewhere he was a sell-out.

It's alright, definetly an interesting bit of rock history. The album was actually the first rock album I ever listened to. However, The Wall on the whole is, for me, a bit depressing, both the movie and the album. Only rarely do I feel like I can really enjoy all that misery in one go.

Way back when *ahem* I must have watched this film everyday for 3 months straight! some of the re-recorded music is better than the album and the Gerald Scarfe animation here is absolutely brilliant:

Agreed, it's the perfect accompaniment to one of my favourite songs from the album .. Definetly one of my favourite "scenes" from the movie as well :)

Definitely. This and the animated part for "Empty Spaces" are probably my two favorite parts of the movie.
