Super Mario Sunshine is largely considered the weakest of the Mario platformers. But it's in good company and even if Sunshine is the weakest, it's still pretty awesome.
What you're talking about is the new AC game for the Wii. From what I've heard about it it's not much more than a standard update of the GC game. So go for the GC original cuz it's cheaper. And make sure to get Pikmin II not the first Pikmin. The second is better because there's more to do and there's no annoying time limit for how long you can play the game, also there's two player battle mode which is cool. Only beef I have about the game is that it has you controlling two characters but there's no option for 2 player co-op. A missed opportunity.
