coryallen2 04-29-2009 08:37 AM

George Lopez is the best one on that show. But dude put shows that are known worldwide.

You seem to be "stuck" in the "Bill Cosbey" ages.

pahuuuta 04-29-2009 08:39 AM

no i dont even like bill cosby lol

coryallen2 04-29-2009 08:41 AM

I don't really watch much of any TV, but there's nothing wrong with things that are old, whether it be old music, old TV or whatever. I recently discovered Mork and Mindy because my dad bought the DVDs since he watched it when he was younger, and it's incredibly hilarious.

coryallen2 04-29-2009 08:44 AM

Scrubs
Blue Collar TV
Damitri Martin

Just to name a few.

coryallen2 04-29-2009 08:45 AM

O and if you guys want to talk about OLD TV shows...WHERE THE HELL ARE THE THREE STOOGES?!??!?!?!??!?!?1

pahuuuta 04-29-2009 08:45 AM

only seen scrubs out of all those things and it was pretty bad. and those shows arent that old, i could say something older.

coryallen2 04-29-2009 08:46 AM

Well I should re-word myself. The 90's comedy sucks balls.

Growing up I loved 90s comedies. I guess it's all I had, but I enjoyed them.

Three Stooges was incredible though.

coryallen2 04-29-2009 08:55 AM

Yeah no modern comedy will beat them. Dave Chappel comes close though.

You know I used to like him a lot, but as I got older I think I kind of lost the taste for it. Though I guess it came at the same time I lost the taste for almost all TV and a lot of comedy, so it was nothing against him; my perception of life and time and what I really wanted to be doing changed.

coryallen2 04-29-2009 09:05 AM

HmMmMmM You sound liek an alcholic.

Did the the three stooges ever have an actual TV show? I know their career peaked before TV came along.

Also, they are painfully unfunny.

coryallen2 04-29-2009 09:08 AM

Yes janszoon they still come on TBS every now and then.

Has Jackhammer posted in this thread?

Also, what they air on stations like TBS are short Three Stooges films that used you play in movie theaters before the main feature. They were not created for TV.

I was under 8 years old when I watched them, I found them hilarious.

Reading the first page of this thread made my IQ drop a little.

Family Matters, Home Improvement and Fresh Prince are all shows I watched as a kid and they still have their retro appeal.

But George Lopez is about as funny as sticking a catheter up your johnson.

My brother watches it, and I've only stuck around for about 5 minutes, but based on that, I agree.

That's pretty much how I feel about Family Matters and Fresh Prince. I like George Lopez better than those shows but it's not something I go out of my way to watch. Home Improvement is one I used to sometimes watch back when it was originally on but now I can't stand it.

Surell 04-29-2009 09:46 PM

Fresh Prince is my show. I love me some new stuff, though. Three Stooges are tight too.

sweet_nothing 04-29-2009 09:48 PM

Fresh Prince for having one of the most gangsta theme songs ever.

Surell 04-29-2009 10:06 PM

First class, yo this is bad
Drinking orange juice out of a champagne glass.

Yeah... George Lopez really isn't that funny.

simplephysics 05-04-2009 06:04 AM

Fresh Prince, no contest. Everyone knows that intro song.

Maybe but the show isn't humourous at all.
