The movies may not be for all tastes but this site: www.indiemoviesonline.com is completely free and legal. Already there is the awesome Evil Aliens horror film I was raving about in the horror thread and the excellent Australian drama Lantana up for viewing. Nice.

I don't want to watch films on the computer unless it's absolutely unavoidable...

It doesn't really hurt unless you're watching something with a lot of beautiful animated imagery or a lot of special effects.
