I just want to say that the whole thing with Calypso in the third movie was the most poorly delivered upon plot point ever.

Fantastic Films, excited there continuing on with the series.

Ugh yes. The whole thing was just silly and at the end of the day just doesn't make any sense. We never got a true explanation of that, we were just left to assume she possessed Tia Dalma... but... uh... for what reason and... wait why is she... if she could come out at any... why would summon... oh well PIRATE FIGHT!

I liked the first one a lot though.

Agreed.

Agreed.

They need to ground the series, no more visits to the 'Locker and no more epic surreal battles with manfish warriors. The Curse was a good, solid storyline, and though it bends the realism, it was good entertainment. I can deal with ghost stories, but temporarily visiting purgatory to rescue the dead and battling mutant seamonsters? C'mon.

Tangent of interest: I visited the island where Elizabeth Swan burns up all the rum--I camped on the beach and ate coconuts. Made me feel cool. Then I visited the bay where they filmed the Jack Sparrow escape scene and some dock scenes in the 1st flick. Made me feel special. Props to me. Pun intended.
