I'm more of a classic movie guy.

Citizen Kane
Dr. Strangelove
Fargo
Apocalypse Now
Sunset Boulevard
Pulp Fiction
This Is Spinal Tap
Lolita (both versions- Frank Langella is a better Clare Qwilty)
A Clockwork Orange (yeah, I like Kubrick- so sue me)
Pink Flamingos (hey, I'm from Baltimore, okay?)

I have the Lolita movie with Jeremy Irons on my DVD shelf, but I have to admit I didn't exactly find it riveting. Pretty interesting, but I'm hoping that I will like Kubrick's take more.

Kubrick's is better IMO. It's not as graphic as the novel and it probably would not have been released if it had been. It's almost a comedy in a way though not really. James Mason comes off as a little more likable than Jeremy Irons but he's every bit as creepy. I'd highly recommend it.

Jeremy Irons went for serious creeper. Mason's portrayal was more pathetic than creepy in my opinion.
