I honestly don't understand what kind of answer you're looking for here. I liked the fact that they were well handled and came together to make a great movie. How do you explain why you like the pieces of something you like?

I think a better question is to ask Proggyman why exactly he didn't like it, because he hasn't explained that at all so far. All he's done is express his disdain for it.

Oh course he has.

It's not exactly the same as the book. For shame.

Holy crap, she kinda does.

Though I think Mitchell is hotter, cougars ftw.

Thankyou Bulldog for posting the poll for me, much appreciated.

I plumped for The Hangover.

Though I have never been a fan of the typical goofball comedies that the States seem to shower upon us, it truly was a laugh-a-minute riot that had the whole cinema in stitches.

I never said I didn't like it because it was different from the book. I'm not sure where you're getting this.
Edit: I was quite explicit about why I didn't like the movie, it wasn't scary if you were older than four. If you all feel differently that's fine.

You know The Watchman should be included, it's not any less legit than some of these other choices, like I dunno, Nine?

I didn't go into it expecting to be scared so that was kind of a non-issue for me. I did think it was pretty creepy as far kids movies go though.

I mean how f*cking stupid is it to criticize a kids movie for being a kids movie?

And yes it was a pretty creepy movie even for adults but yeah criticizing a kids movie for not being scary enough is incredibly retarded especially when it's one of the creepiest films ever marketed towards children.

So it's a slightly creepy, fairly well done kids movie. Just not one of the movies of the year to me.
