I will pack your mouth with your sweet, pink mouth with so much iced cream, you'll be the envy of every Jerry and Jane on the block!

replace all those albums with cd's and you basically have me (only i work in a lab). i related to high fidelity on a ridiculous level...when i first saw this, i was basically going through the same relationship crap (only it didn't have a happy ending) and the friends i hang out with have a similar elitist approach to music appreciation. we shun people with poor taste in music, only i handle like rob gordon. if you have poor taste in music but show an interest in the good stuff, i can handle it.

Nice...love it.

That movie changed me...I can't even explain.

As cliched as it sounds, Holden Caulfield from Catcher in the Rye. I read it right at the tail end of my angsty teenage phase and he just seemed to encompass everything I was feeling at that time. Other than that I can't really think of anybody else minus like... Marten from the webcomic Questionable Content except I'm nowhere near as "shockable" and I'm not the biggest indie rock fan.

Gah! Why didn't I think of that one? I was even in the process of moving to Chicago when I first saw that movie.
