Who is your favorite movie composer?

Personally, my favorite is Danny Elfman, because he has composed some of my favorite film scores. "Beetlejuice," "Edward Scissorhands," "The Nightmare before Christmas," and "Spider-man." Anyone else here think he's awesome. And, if not, then who is your favorite film composer?

Hans Zimmer, hands down. His scores are just so tense and violent.

Though Harry Gregson-Williams comes a close second.

John Barry (R.I.P.) or Philip Glass. Very different artists, of course, but I couldn't pick just one...

John Barry..
My favorites are The Lion in Winter (1969) & The Knack (1965)

Maybe Michael Kamen (RIP), not that I pay much attention to music composers.
