it's violence in the context of a "rumble", a "gangfight"

i think it comes from the Chinese hoods I was mixing around with at youth

So it's a gang mentality? You do realize that you have the ability to make your own decisons, right? I realize that a fight gets everyone's "fight or flight" response going, and everyone wants to assert their position in the group, but loving violence for the sake of loving violence is absurd.

no, it's not even following a leader

it's just different people from different groups disagreeing on something which escalates - it's not really a scenario of the gang leader ordering you to fight another gang - it's something which happens often here

it gets my testesterone flowing but I don't indulge in it too much now - i'm getting old

Seems like a really bright kid.

As crude as it sounds, some of the best feelings I've ever had in life were standing over a limp, bloody body, feeling my heart race and my knuckles throb with pain. I'm not saying I go around picking fights, but if someone pushes me to far, walking away isn't always the answer.

I don't think you really understand violence, it's not some crude ancient practice. It's something that has always been, and will always be part of this world. Like it or not, sometimes it's a necessity, like in the OP video in this thread. That kid had two choices, walk away with pride, or without it... and he made the right choice.

Doesn't look like he is blamming anything on testosterone.

^^yeah I just said fighting cause my testesterone to flow, not testesterone was causing the fight

i've never been into a fight before and if i were to choose, i'll just walk away, but kudos to those who can stand up to their oppresors. it's truely admirable and something i know i can never learn.

What type of art do you have basic knowledge in?

Well said imo. I get that feeling sometimes when I want to get into a fight with someone for the adrenaline rush and sometimes to channel some bent up anger but I refrain from it because it's not completely necessary and there are other ways for me to release my bent up anger so I choose those other methods.
