I have the first 2 series on dvd somewhere.
I need to dig them out.

I think I prefer The Royle Family but it is such a close call. I certainly do not begrudge anyone for prefering Early Doors. I too have watched it many, many times. It just never gets boring. It's one of the few shows I can watch again, and again, and it gets no worse.

I just watched the 1987 film Near Dark which blends vampire horror, western, and biker genres all into one pretty damn good film. It's got a pretty memorable cast, including an awesome performance by Bill Paxton as a sociopathic vampire. I wouldn't say that it's better than The Lost Boys but it's definitely an underrated film all together. Definitely check it out if you want a good example of what vampires are suppose to be.

Mission Hill, the cartoon that started on WB and quickly got the ax. Only 14/17 written were made and aired. The scripts for the last 3 would have added just enough closure, but no, not even that...

Also, a drama called John Doe, perhaps on FOX. It was fairly interesting and involved but never came to a real conclusion, leaving tons of unanswered questions.

Freaks and Geeks, loved that show. Every episode was fun and entertaining.

Arrested Development was a show I was never really sick of. I'm just waiting for them to come up with the movie!

 This. Totally brilliant show! A travesty of justice on the level of The Great Firefly Cancellation when it got cancelled.

FireFly was a bit too early but Freaks and Geeks was fine ending when it did.

I'm pretty sure that show would have been awful if they stretched it out over more seasons like they do with so many other shows to the point where it becomes awful.

It did have a little closure true, but I think it was just starting to get really good. I wanted to see how Daniel balanced his newfound geekery with his slackerness, damn it!
