Dynamo: Magician impossible.

Done a search, didn't find any dynamo threads. But if there is, oops.

Dynamo is a magician from Northern England (Bradford). His real name is Steven Frayne, dynamo is obviously the stage name he works under.

The things he does is ridiculous. His show is on sky channel Watch on Thursday's at 9pm. British time...

It's definitely worth watching, I wasn't too optimistic about how good it was until I actually watched it. Guys amazing.

Hey! I just watched the first episode online thanks to another person from Northern England who happens to post on this forum! :D

This is good stuff for sure. Not even so much for the tricks themselves, but just watching the look of utter amazement and wonder on people's faces when he works his magic. And, I liked most of the music they played in the background during the show.

Definitely worth a watch.

A lot of what he does is bog standard card tricks but now and again he really pulls something out of the hat if you will pardon the expression and make me sit back and think how the frig did he do that?

You need to wait for the main trick:

The black guy was watching him the whole time behind the coat... but still turned around like 'woah wtf, how did you do that'.

It was obviously some sort of hole there for him to go through and the guy with the coat was a stooge. Dynamo is only a small fella easily crafted for this type of trick. Still looked great though!

That's cause he was in on it. Nobody outside even moved or reacted when he suddenly appeared outside.

I got that he was in on it, I was just pointing out the ridiculousness of the man pretending he didnt understand what had happened when he was clearly wathcing the whole process.

FETCHER. 08-06-2011 04:14 AM

He does some pretty impossible stuff, like moving watch tan lines up a guys arm and stuff. I just don't understand...

EvilChuck 08-06-2011 04:34 AM

Probbaly one of those pretend tattoo sleeve type things, just with a tanline on it instead of tattoos.

Muggles... *rolls eyes*.

I think he actually went off to the right and out the door which is right there. There's a second guy in a long black coat obstructing the view on that side who I assume was a plant as well. Either that or the guy outside is a double and the magician slips out of the crowd while everyone is distracted watching the double walk away.

Anyone watched any of the new series? He makes his first series look amatuer. I'll post some videos later.

Goofle 08-01-2012 07:52 AM

Shits crazy. Guy makes me doubt physics.

FETCHER. 08-02-2012 04:43 AM

**** defies the laws of gravity. I don't even know what he is anymore

Goofle 08-02-2012 05:58 AM

He's Jesus, let's be honest.

Yeah I watched the second series and there were far too many card tricks for my liking but his levitation trick in front of the statue of Jesus in Rio was damn good TV as was his walk down the building in LA but you could almost see the pulley he was on as he paused for a split second on reaching the ground waiting for the release of the wire.

All cynicism apart he still makes a good show and is refreshingly absent of glitz and glamour that REALLY makes me want to turn off the TV when it comes to magic.
