The Nikita is it the same as the one that had been airing and they just picked it up again like ten years later? With Shane West? Wasn't there already a season two? At any rate if it is I could perhaps be stoked for it then. =] I liked the show and binged on it for days watching it on Netflix.

Edit to add- I think I could be into Alphas. From the glimpse I saw anyway.

No, it's loosely based on that story but slightly different. That was called "La femme Nikita", based on the movie of the same name. Operations is now called Percy (why oh why?) and Nikita is out of Section (now called something else, can't remember) and trying to destroy it from the outside. Different actors, some names remain (Micheal, Nikita, Amanda, Birkhoff) and now apparently Section (or whatever it's called now -- oh yeah, Division!) is seen as a rogue entity helping prop up dictatorships in return for financial gain (not that different from Section really I guess, or the US Govt!) and Nikita is determined to bring it down with an operative/mole she has working inside Section. Division. Whatever.

Edit: Sorry, my bad. This IS the one with Shane West; seems the first season was split into two, over several months, but this is the actual second full season. The previous series, "La femme Nikita", had different actors, so most of the above is just useless waffle from me now, par for the course I guess...

Having just watched "Homeland" season 1 I'm really looking forward to the new season, due September I think? Though god knows when we'll get it (Sky? Are you listening?)

Also the new season of the Borgias starts tomorrow. Can't say I was overly impressed with season 1, but I did enjoy it. Sinbad looks good too.

I really need to give Homeland a try. I've heard wonderful things about it.

Anyway, Breaking Bad is going to be it for me for most of the summer, though Hell On Wheels is returning in August, I believe. It's an incredibly flawed show, but they have some good ideas and actors so i'm hoping that they'll pull it together. Even if they dont, though, is pretty entertaining as is; it would have to reach "The Killing" levels of badness before i'd consider quitting on it.

Really enjoying Sinbad on Sky 1 but the anachronistic language used is driving me up the wall.

Of course the idea that the Queen's English is the native tongue of the middle east is ridiculous too!

The 3rd series of Sherlock on PBS, and the series Elementary, also about Sherlock Holmes,
I believe it is to be on CBS. Not sure.

The script for Arrow is really good. Looking forward to seeing how they shot it.

Also really looking forward to Revolution, even if it is just a less-interesting rip off of Dies The Fire.

Finally, I really hope Last Resort is good. The concept is really interesting to me!

Anyone got information on "Hell on wheels"? Looks pretty good, and we're due to get in here in Ireland I'd say sometime in the next month or two. Has anyone seen it? Is it even on in the US yet?

It's been on in the US for about a year, I think they're on season 2 now. I watched the first few episodes and thought it was okay. Not great, but it could have potential. My biggest gripe is I don't think the guy who plays the main character is the right person for the role.

Thanx Jansz. At least it's got a second season, which I always look for: tired of getting into a show only for it to be shutdown at the end of season 1. I like the idea of the history of the railroad, am mildly interested in trains and so I think this may be a decent fit for me. Will give it a go anyway.
