Name That Still!

I don't know if this should go in the Games, Lists, and Polls subforum, but I had a fun idea for a movie game and the Media subforum seemed appropriate. If I chose incorrectly, feel free to move it there, mods. A lot of films--especially noir--have fantastic and almost immediately recognizable cinematography that translates into great snapshots or stills.

How the game works: each person posts a still (use photobucket or something so that people won't be able to cheat and look at the link for the IMDb or something like that) and the person after them names the film that it's from. Simple as that. Maybe I'll work out a scoreboard when I have enough time and if this thread takes off (I'm sure that a few MB film buffs will partake).

First still:

Enjoy!

You got it!

Uhm, I guess that I'll pick another. Try to post some of your own next time? Or whatever I haven't thought out the rules yet.

#2 is way too easy for grown folk. Dig deeper.

Yeah, I wanted to do some rather obvious ones at the start so that it wouldn't kill the thread. I don't know where that picture is from though. Frownland: 0

Maybe I picked one that's too difficult. I know it well but maybe you'd have to be a semi-big fan of 1940s film noir to guess mine. That's a hint. Can you see the name that I gave the jpeg? If so, that's another clue.

There was actually a thread on this a while ago but it seemed to have died out, which is a shame.

Um, what?

Anyway, since you're all so interested the film is called Scarlet Street, directed by Fritz Lang and published in 1945. The actress in the picture is Joan Bennett. Calm down.
