Man you guys didn't play it right. Halo CE was an okay game, yeah great shooter revolutionized xbox, whatever. Halo 3 had a solid campaign which in itself gives multiple playthroughs, multiplayer imo was epic, team snipes, team swat, grifball...so much. The community was great, and kept the game going at a max for a solid 3 years.
After going on to play the next game in any series, I don't get how you could go back and say, "I miss that ****tier looking, buggy, slow paced game after playing games like Reach and H3. I always bring myself to buy every Halo game, HCE: sold, H2: sold, H3: in my xbox 360. No need mentioning Odst, fun but pointless, Halo Wars: What the fuck did I just buy?, HR: Great game, still have it, H4: great game (and actually getting better everytime). The majority of my online gaming took part in Halo 3 so that's probably why I think it's a bloody fantastic game, Halo's peak, going down slightly on Reach, stalemate with 4, down with 5. But for old times sake I'll give a vote to the coolest mofu'in bird on the planet, Banjo-Kazooie. |
Here's my favourites of the current generation (360 or PS3)
1. Fallout 3 2. Uncharted 2: Among Thieves 3. Heavy Rain 4. Dead Space 5. Batman Arkham Asylum 6. Fallout: New Vegas 7. GTA IV 8. Uncharted: Drake's Fortune 9. Dead Space 2 10. Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood |
I played the first Halo when Xbox first came out. It was alright. I recently bought Halo 4 for my daughter, but I personally haven't checked it out yet.
Been a while since I've played any video games, but when my daughter was younger we'd play Mario Party, Mario Kart, Toejam and Earl, and I'd let her drive around in GTA Vice City as she did the speed limit, and obeyed the traffic laws. lol |

I completely agree with Arkham Asylum... great damn game, even for people who might not be huge fans of Batman (I am, though). I'm on the fence about Fallout 3... the whole time I played it I kept thinking "this is just like Oblivion but in the future... And with guns... I should love this" but it just never caught on for me. Maybe the atmosphere was just too depressing. And the ending severely pissed me off. Still haven't played New Vegas. On that note, I finally picked up Skyrim... Wow. I shouldn't have done that... I have a thesis to write... |
Jedi knight 2 jedi outcast.
Old online multiplayer game. Capture the flag as a fing jedi!! Plus the skill level you coyld reach, not by leveling up, but just being good was insane. One person could take entire team, if they were good enough. |

Red Dead Redemption might be my all time favorite game, but GTA IV, Assassin's Creed II, Skyrim and Bayonetta were all insanely addictive games.
