Im waiting for the FF7 remake but today i read they are splitting the game in episodes which annoys me.

FINAL FANTASY VII REMAKE Will Be Split into Episodic Games | Nerdist

Supposedly each episode will feel like a complete game but i don't like the idea that FF7 is now following the development process that most games are following these days which is to squeeze more money out of players through DLC's and sh*t like that, im somewhat accustomed to those types of games but it kinda sucks that even FF7 now has to follow that same formula.

I'm not impressed with the two newcomers in Smash: Collin and Bayonetta. We have enough of Fire Emblem already, and a character from a violent and sexual Rated M game shouldn't be in Smash, a kid's game where kids get interested in the characters. Well, at least I know I'm not gonna let my kids play as her. Downloading her's not mandatory.

It looks like the battle system is gonna be like Kingdom hearts. It makes sense that's the battle system they would go for cause one of the biggest complain non-rpg players have is the turn based system and this remake it's not just being made for fans of the original game you can tell they're going for a bigger demographic than that.

I am super pumped to see what Scalebound ends up being like. That and Cracdown 3 are my most anticipated for next year besides cyberpunk 2077.

Does this mean you'll have to buy more than one game? Like with MGS V?

I thought the remake was the same exact game just with better graphics, like the MGS HD Collection.

Waiting for this myself anyway on PS4 now.

Yes, that's exactly what it means.

I think the game started as just a remake but now it's turning into another modern FF game. A game that won't solely rely on the nostalgia of FF7 to sell and will draw a new audience. My concern with this game is that it is gonna a big budget game that is gonna have to compete with the other big budget games out there and therefore it's gonna abide by those same standards.

That means it will need to have the best graphics around, DLCs, over blown marketing, basically the modern make over all big budget games have to go through nowadays and depending on your perspective that's not necessarily a bad thing but it does mean it won't come cheap.
