Total letdown. The only thing it had going for it was good use of atmosphere and difficulty level (but difficult in the annoying way, and not so much the strategic way). All the other important factors of a game, it lacked severely. Especially the ending... and unless the story was supposed to be "world ended... survive... also, weird ghosts that we will not explain, ever.", then I'm sorry, but that's one game I won't be playing again.
The books are fu***** amazing!
Metro was a bit disappointing, but I got it for free for liking the THQ fb profile so I can't really complain..
The books though - I assume they translated them to English by now, it's Fallout but without the American popculture references and a lot more down to earth. Even with these psychic events or whatnot and huge mutants.
The setting has amazing potential to be an "open world" rpg, there are so many factions in the Moscow metro, so many mysteries, it could just be the best thing since sliced bread. if they ever get around to making it

The book has been released in an English translation and I thought it was just okay, but I have a really tough time with Russian literature so it may just be me. I believe the publishing rights for the game were bought by Deep Silver (publishers of Dead Island) during THQ's auctioning. As for the actual game itself, I thought it was one of the more interesting releases this console generation, marred only by the gamebreaking bugs that made it impossible for me to finish, kind of like Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corners of the Earth.

Shadowrun Returns
I think GTA V is going to be a big game, I'm pretty sure it was pushed back but it's going to hit hard. Amnesia is my favorite PC game, probably because it's the only game it can run well, but I'm still going though the first story plus a few customs as well. Bioshock is Bioshock. Zombie games are one of my favorites, so DayZ, although I'm going to have to get a better computer, new Walking Dead game, hopefully different than the current ones, storyline will probably just as intense, and Dead Rising: Riptide. First one was not the best but it was fun, so if they fixed all the controls, bugs, and improved the gameplay, it can actually be a good game. Oh and FIFA 14.

Im cautiously optimistic about South Park: The Stick of Truth. It looks really fun and you can't go wrong with Trey and Matt pulling the strings with the story and characters.

Just read on a gaming site that The Walking Dead: Season 2 will be coming out this fall, so there's another one I'm excited for.

Ones I'm keeping my eye on, but usually I only end up getting half of the games list, eventually.

Last of us
Gta V
Watchdogs
Company of heroes 2
Bioshock infinite
Dragon's dogma dark arisen
Remember me
Fuse

Also Day Z. I've decided I'd rather wait for the stand-alone game to come out than buy ARMA II, even though the $12.50 price tag on Steam right now is mighty tempting.

Yessir, that game was such a huge surprise last year. It had some of the best characters and some of the most intense moments I've ever encountered in games. Deff pumped for season 2

Spoiler for :

He will be missed ;__;

I'm thinking we be playing as Clementine and it would pick up either right after the ending of season 1 or set sometime after; maybe a few months. I'm really curious to see where they go with the series, and how our decisions from the first series translate over.

I'm playing the hell out of Metal Gear Solid 4 right now and it has reinvigorated my interest in the series. I haven't enjoyed a Metal Gear game this much since the first one...in fact I downloaded the first one on the PSN just for a nostalgia trip. I'm tempted to get the HD collection with 2, 3, and Peace Walker on it. I'm also tempted to check out Metal Gear Rising now. I don't know when it's coming out but I'll get it sometime.

I'm really looking forward to God of War: Ascension, though. That's coming out next week. Yeeya.
