What kind of TV does your sister have? I recall the option of just using an HDMI or VGA cable was thrown out there as well, so maybe just hooking the TV up to a computer and using the computer to run Netflix with your FireFox plugin is the best way to go.

Yeah tried that thanks, but unf the laptop is pretty old -- maybe 5/6 years? --- and therefore the play stutters and often freezes, plus when she's in bed, which is always, she has no way to remotely control the playback, so that was the option I was trying to improve for her with the Roku. Kinda worked, but with a significant loss factor too...
