Lemongrab is good and all, but if we're talking about truly sad episodes, it's gotta be "I Remember You." Or "Holly Jolly Secrets Part II." And definitely "Simon & Marcy."

Really, any episode featuring Ice King as the main character, is probably soul-crushingly depressing.

I meant that in the context that it's a show ostensibly aimed at children but has a strong adult following and both fan groups praise it for it's writing and the messages it imparts upon the younger, targeted demographic.

Again, I don't think it's a bad show, it's cute and it's something I would go to if I wanted an immediate dose of levity in my life, but I've never felt the urge to binge watch it.

It's like Superjail for children, so complex and moving that I can say it's the best animated show I've seen on TV for a long while.

I agree with your statement and also want to give you an actual high five for what is the greatest avatar I've ever seen on this site.

Yeah this show is something else it's definitely not like any traditional cartoons were there's a different story ever episode (for the most part). It's more like an anime where there's any actually storyline to the show. I have to say I do watch the show sometimes and my personal favorite character's are Jake, The Lich King and Abracadaniel lol

So was anyone else weirded out by last night's episode? I mean, every episode is weird, but what with Flame Princess leaving/all the weird vaguely sexual dreams that Finn was having, it seems like the makers of AT may be leaving the straight-up kiddie storylines that they've done in the past and start moving toward more stories focused on teenagers. I mean, it was almost blunt with that last dream, Finn turned into a weird hairy man-baby, which is really all teenagers are.

Shoot. Shouldnt have read this as I havent seen the new one yet haha. I do have to say that the last couple episodes have been very strong (Finding BMOs creator has potential to be pretty important to the overall plot/what happened in the war). Ill watch the newest one tonight hopefully
