Michael Michele as Det. Rene Sheppard from Homicide: Life on the Streets.

Too bad she didn't show up until the 7th season when the writing was already going downhill. Still, out of the three female detectives added to the show after Melissa Leo left, Detective Sheppard was the best written and most expanded out of all of them.

Took the post right outta my fingers. Paget Brewster is fine as well, but Stana's personality is just sexy.
