Next day off Bat I am going to catch up with you on this.

I've fallen behind due to excessive music downloading, but I'm up to the second issue of the Silver Surfer mini-series. So, I've gotten through these ones in bold...
Thanos 7-12 Drax The Destroyer 1-4 Annihilation Prologue Annihilation Silver Surfer 1 Annihilation Super Skrull 1 Annihilation Nova 1 Annihilation Ronan 1 Annihilation Silver Surfer 2 Annihilation Super Skrull 2 Annihilation Nova 2 Annihilation Ronan 2 Annihilation Silver Surfer 3 Annihilation Super Skrull 3 Annihilation Nova 3 Annihilation Ronan 3 Annihilation Silver Surfer 4 Annihilation Super Skrull 4 Annihilation Nova 4 Annihilation Ronan 4 Annihilation Nova Corps Files Annihilation 1-6 Annihilation Heralds of Galactus 1-2 Nova v4 #1-3 Technically you don't have to read the four, individual character mini-series (Silver Surfer, Super Skrull, Nova, and Ronan) in that specific order, but that was the order of their publication, so I'm sticking to that list. They're basically unconnected, but apparently come together by the time of the actual 1-6 Annihilation series. It's been pretty good so far, with the Annihilation Prologue being especially badass. The stuff before Annihilation Prologue doesn't have much to do with the actual Annihilation series proper, except as teaser, but I imagine some of it will eventually prove to be pretty relevant as the series goes on (especially the Thanos series). Also, I haven't read much Green Lantern, but the Nova Corps seems to be more interesting than the GL Corps. They seem to be much more of a down-to-earth (so to speak) intergalactic peace keeping force than the purely uber-police of the Green Lanterns. I still love the idea of the Green Lantern Corps, but I'm quickly becoming interested in the Nova Corps. |
There's a CBR/CBZ archive of the first 100 issues of Vampirella (1969-1983) circulating.
I also have the complete Sergio Aragones' Groo the Wanderer archive (both physically and in CBR). It was how I learned how to read. |

I've yet to pick up Jack Kirby's uninked concept art for the deleted The Prisoner comic from '76. I have low-res copies but will have to pick up a CBR of Collected Jack Kirby Vol 1 to have them in full-res glory.

So has anyone else continued read 100 Bullets? I ask because I'm nearing the end of the series and it would be nice to have someone to discuss it with.

^^Worth getting into?
I'm not much for serial comics but I'll try anything once (last I read was Y-the last man eons ago, but that was fun). I tried Chew, but couldn't get into it. Always on the lookout for some serious graphic novel recommendations tho (because I'm a serious person). |
