Watching it now. Hilarious as usual.

In reference to Michael Jackson's victims:

"I know this is gonna sound harsh... But... Someone has to teach these kids there's no such thing as a free trip to Hawaii."

New Chappelle special is trash. Dude should stick to sketches instead of doing this Seinfeld imitation.

Not even close. Seinfeld impression? The **** lol

Was arguably his best special. Maybe the one with the OJ stories, it's between those 2.

Back when Chappelle Show was on TV, his stand up was alright but he wasn't top tier. He wasn't Chris Rock or Louis CK. Now he's basically surpassed them both imo. He's going to go down as one of the greatest of all time.

All the PC backlash only makes it more attractive to true comedy fans.

This is his Carlin's 7 dirty words moment.

May the comedy gods bless you, Dave Chappelle.

I don't want to start accusing you of being politically biased but
... How the hell could you be a fan of Chappelle show and yet not think Michael Jackson bit is funny? It's the same brand of humor. It's just the times that have changed. If Chappelle show came out today it would get trashed the same way.

By that I meant he was white as ****.

He didn't say anything particularly provocative or funny and he was trying to be both. It had its moments but ja definitely his weakest work to date.

The backlash is funny though, as is the overhyping that it's receiving from people just because they have an axe to grind about political correctness.

I think you resent the angle he's taking cause it goes against your ideology but there were tons of good lines in there.

And funny how he said nothing provocative yet they're was a backlash. You're living in the twilight zone.

Lol ja gotta love how any criticism is conflated with ideological blinders. This is exactly what Chappelle was talking about tsk tsk

There were some good lines for sure, no denying that. The majority of the special rested on attempts at being offensive without much of a joke behind them, which just winds up being boring imo.
