His sister is likeable as well.Personally I think everyone was cast wonderfully.

His issue is,like Robbin Williams ,Jack Black is so wound for sound you can't take him seriously.

I really like him in the two Linklater films - Bernie and School Of Rock. I think I have the same problem with Robin Williams to be honest. Actors with a good screen presence that just haven't made good career choices and end up starring in poor films, with boring directors, that populate the mainstream.
