Favorite Movie Posters
Anybody else like posters? I think I'd love them even if I wasn't a huge movie fan. Most are done by independent artists and come out so good. I consider them works of serious art, not just advertisements for movies. Anyway, share your favorites! Here are mine...

Lost In Translation: 20 Baffling Foreign Movie Posters | Cracked.com
This is probably my personal bias, but the Polish school of movie posters (it really exists) is something I find equally fascinating and bizarre. Both the graphics and translation, for example here http://www.polishposter.com/images/1110.jpgphttp://www.polishposter.com/images/1110.jpg is the 1st Terminator poster.... only it's not called the Terminator, it's Elektroniczny Mordeca - electronic murderer. Why ? Terminator in polish means apprentice. |
