MB Members Streaming Games and ****
 

So, like, assume I was gonna stream or uploading vids of myself myself playing Dark Souls or Alien: Isolation or whatever. Some game that people would like to see me suffer. How many people would be in support of that. Obviously everyone, but in general, if MB basically had its own video game channel, would that be a thing people cared about?

Yeah, pretty much feel the same way. If you could just like make a highlight reel with clips of every time the game makes you **** your pants, that would be great.

I've been experimenting, but my computer is a notebook, so it's a bitch to get the video capture software to work with my ****ty RAM. But if all goes well... you will see me **** my pants.

I know youtubers who have tons of subscribers that are way less amusing than the Batlord. i mean, i know we all sh*t on him and rightfully so but i think he could take his show on the road.

God damn it, I really tried to get the video recording software to work with Alien: Isolation, but even at its best, which I had to pull teeth to get to, the FPS was just useless, so I'm finally installing Condemned: Criminal Origins. So we'll see. It's an old game that only requires about 6 or 7 gigs, so it might work with the software, and it's supposed to be pretty scary, so you might get to see my face in tears.

Just remembered that I can just do emulated games, like **** from Super Nintendo and Sega and ****. Who wants to watch me chuck my laptop across the room in frustration as I play all the hardest old school games: NES Megaman, NES Castlevania, NES Ninja Gaiden, Super Mario Bros/Super Mario Bros 3 (dat last area... *shudder*)? I have little patience for frustration in games, so a lot of gamer rage and incoherent whisper-screaming (I live with my mother after all) would ensue.

I would actually like to start making some kind of videos as well. I'd have to look into how I can record party chats on Xbox whilst playing games first, because I think that's a bit better for the type of games I play (GTA/Rocket League/FIFA and other multiplayer stuff).

I can record individual clips from the box, but it's not quite the same adding voice over it afterwards. And I am not really set up to capture video.

I would watch a couple vids. As far as joining myself, if I did decide to partake, it would mostly only be live streams through my PS4 of Rocket League, The Division and Hitman. The few games I've been playing lately. Also might need a new headset, the feedback on my old one kind of sucks.

To capture video from a console requires a piece of hardware (I forget what it's called) that's around $200, so...

I don't have a controller, so what else was I gonna use? And I don't think a controller would have made much difference. I don't know if you remember how hard that game is, but seriously, I have no more idea how to deal with those flying dudes at the start of the level now than I did at the beginning.

I passed Megaman 9 & 10 not too long ago and trust me using a controller makes a world of difference. you won't be able to play Nes platformers with a keyboard or Snes platformers for that matter cause those games rely on tight controls.

It was funny seeing you get stuck on the 1st enemy and some of your commentary was funny too but don't rely so much on cursing.

I actually wasn't relying on cursing. I was just cursing. I was pretty much in panic mode that whole time and my mouth was just running on its own.

Not at all. Prior to this I think the only NES game I ever played was Metroid. Which I might have to rediscover.

It's hard as f*ck. probably tougher than Ninja gaiden.

Good ****, I'm still working on my aerials. Majority of the time, I end up having to hustle back to be the goalie and I suck so bad at it as far as being up to get enough air for blocks but I get my other saves in.

And hopefully a few of them will be over 15.

Hard as **** is an understatement, really.

God damn it, I'd love to do another video, but booze gives me asthma, and I woke up still wheezing. Hearing my own breathing on that Megaman video was legitimately annoying to me, so I don't really wanna do another one while I'm still wheezy. If only I had medical insurance to get an actual inhaler. It would seriously improve my burgeoning Youtube career.
