E3 2016

Let's talk about those highly anticipated games that we are longing for after seeing those presentations from the different studios.

Since I'm on vacation, I have yet to sit down and fully watch Microsoft, Sony and Ubisoft but I will get around to it eventually.

I didn't find Watchdogs to be terrible so I'm looking forwards to Watchdogs 2.

We Happy Few: An Ode to Joy in a Dystopian Hellscape - Xbox Wire

This game looks ace.

djchameleon 06-16-2016 06:40 AM

Looks really good, I'd play that. Too bad I don't have an Xbone. I will just have to watch gameplays of it. I'm just interested in the story anyways.

Did you happen to watch all of the press conferences? Who did you think "won" this year?

DwnWthVwls 06-16-2016 10:08 AM

I didn't watch much, but I was incredibly underwhelmed by Playstation VR.

Horizon Zero Dawn or whatever makes me want a PS.

Goofle 06-16-2016 10:11 AM

I did not watch anything from E3, just seen a few links.

Justthefacts 06-16-2016 10:19 AM

Normally I'm never impressed with E3 but this year was incredible, Sony's presentation being exceptional. Hands down though, Kojima's new game is an event. It's sort of insane to think he's done something without Metal Gear attached to it. His MGS days will be missed, but Death Stranding looks so great. New Spider-Man is long overdue, first 3 Crash Bandicoot games coming fully-restored, For Honor looks like multiplayer gold. Disappointed with no Kingdom Hearts 3 unveiling, but overall E3 was not disappointing. Oh yes, Resident Evil 7 :thumb:

Capcom definitely made their intentions clear with that demo. If Konami won't make a new Silent Hill game, they will.

The Xbox One S looks slick. May get one since I've never owned a console since the Wii U was released.

bulbasaur 06-16-2016 08:34 PM

i'm interested in death stranding since it's a kojima project, but i'm not too hyped for it yet since i have no idea what it's actually going to be about. watch dogs 2 seems cool; i opted out of picking up the first, but we'll see how this one goes. crash hd is nice, and i'm a sucker for spider-man games, so there's that. bummer tekken 7 won't be released til 2017, but it looks cool

JGuy Grungeman 06-17-2016 10:03 AM

You love Spider-Man games? You ever get those Spider-Man dreams where you're the webslinger going around town doing flips through the air while swinging?

I mean, Tarzan's my favorite fiction novel, but he can suck it.

The Batlord 06-17-2016 10:06 AM

Web-swinging > flying

Justthefacts 06-17-2016 10:10 AM

Teleportation > web-slinging

The Batlord 06-17-2016 11:09 AM

Nope. Still web-swinging.

JGuy Grungeman 06-17-2016 11:37 AM

Actually, I don't think I've ever had a teleportation dream. But web-slinging beats flying any day of the week.

Yeah web slinging is way more fun than teleportation.

I love Nightcrawler and all but web-slinging is still an excellent way to travel.

Anywhere you travel though you can teleport too. Web-slinging to California is gonna take weeks, I could teleport in a portapottie at Coachella just by snapping my fingers

I wouldn't want to web-sling long distances.

Web-slinging is mostly for cities. I don't care about getting far distances in such periods of time like that.

The Batlord 06-17-2016 11:57 PM

Who gives a **** which is more convenient? Web-swinging is by far the most fun-looking form of superhero travel.

And **** Coachella.
