Avengers v. Justice League Survivor: Dawn of Awesome
 

Time to get around to the real survivor thread. The Avengers and the Justice League are the pre-eminent superhero teams of their respective companies, and there's no better place than a music forum to decide which is superior.

Both teams have had around half the people on Earth on their roster at one point or another, so I'm trying to keep the lists down to the most iconic members. The lists are not final however, but to start off both teams will have an equal number of heroes.

I'm thinking of the rules ATM, but basically I'm thinking we pit a member of each team against the other per round. Then after all of the heroes on the lists have had a round they start going up against winners of other rounds. If one team has more winners than the other then I guess the extras will wait until a spot opens up. Or something.

I use to collect comics so I'll play. Wolverine wasn't on the Avengers for any serious length of time was he? I don't mind if he's in though as he's one of my favourite heroes.

He's been on the team since the early 00's. I wouldn't have added him and Spider-Man, but both were core members at a pivotal point in Avengers history (see New Avengers vol. 1). Also, it's just more fun with Wolverine and Spider-Man.

Considering that the new avengers in the reboot were (i don't know if they still are) funded by deadpool, this list needs deadpool. DEADPOOL!!

Also first round needs to be the question that keeps me awake at night: Batman vs. Iron Man!

Superman wins.

First things first, I want to say that I'm a marvel fanboy. That said, every battle will most likely end with a Justice League member winning. DC so heavily overpowers their heroes that they are pretty much unstoppable. They all have very small weaknesses. The only person that could probably beat all DC characters on Marvel's side is... DEADPOOL!!!

Superman can power stunt any of his abilities to do anything he wants. He wins.

That happened last year. Not exactly a storied member of the team.

It's not about power, it's about which ones you like.

Oh, well, in that case, The Hulk.
