I did yes. She said "Cruise is no more my Lestat than Edward G Robinson!" He did well though. Mind you, Stuart Townsend was better, I felt, in the follow-up.

Was he? It's so long now since I read it, I can't remember. What a pity they never optioned it for a TV series. That would have been amazing, and given the interest in vampires on TV, I often wonder why the hell not? |
