I disagree. Both are iconic and necessary.

What the **** is wrong with you? Gargoyles was second only to Batman as far as children's cartoons with complex, mature writing.

Pinky and the Brain skits were on Animaniacs. That's like putting them on twice.

Oh yeah Beyond. I loved Beyond but that can go too to make room for PowerPuff Girls.

Is this the time when you discovered the vacuum cleaner? you sick bastard.

And both shows were of consistently high quality. I'd say that Pinky and the Brain only got better on its own as well.

Batman's best performance was on Scooby Doo.. Where he actually filled a role that he could accomplish if his character followed the rules of the universe he existed in.

People doing unrealistic things with hand waving logic follows the rules of the DC universe.

DWV, just because you don't like Batman doesn't mean he's being cut. B:TAS and Beyond are two iconic series and they need to be left in. Also, you seem to have the wrong idea here: it IS the timeless classics that need to be on the list: what else would make sense?

Nobody's helping me on the list for the 2000s though, and as far as Spongey goes, he began transmitting in July 1999, so that makes him a candidate for the list of the 90s.

Recheck the list (once it's finalised it will of course be moved to the OP) - anything bolded is not subject to change. Other than that, make your case(s) for why something not bolded should be replaced by your choice.

I was only barely aware that Duckman existed and had no idea what its name is, so was it really iconic? And Reboot sucked. It shouldn't be untouchable just cause you have a hardon for it. I wasn't aware anybody even liked it.

In point of fact I haven't even ever seen Reboot, but...

as for Duckman, it was one of the first properly "adult" cartoons I ever saw, long before any of your Adult Swim stuff, and it was animated by the same guy who went on to do a little show called The Simpsons, and was based on a Dark Horse Comics character. It stays. Just because you have never heard of it doesn't mean it wasn't iconic. It was. It ran for four seasons.

Those are Canadian awards. I doubt it had the stiffest competition.
