Nice. I've never had a christmas tree of my own.
|
That one was a cheap Walmart prelit one. It's more glitter bomb than tree. I spend more time cleaning up the **** that falls off of it then putting it up.
|
But putting all that **** on is half the fun!
Me and my brother still put on all of the shiny bits, glass globes and whatever every year. It's been a while since I've joined my parents in chopping down a tree in a forest though. The smell of pine and the pain from the pointy pine needles is like a tradition. I know it's christmas when my fingers hurt but I'm in a good mood anyway. I don't know what the specific species of pine tree we always get is named, but a direct translation would be "Red Pine". It's got short, pointy needles from hell, but it looks great and smells great. |
I used to put up a real tree. It was always a good time hunting down and bagging those suckers. lol
...and the smell. Yeah thats good stuff. |
One of my mom's boyfriend's always had a real tree when I was a kid. The needles fell everywhere and you had to water it. I'm fine with a fake one. 2 of my nephews just put theirs up on Wednesday. Yours looks great Plankton! I might put mine up when my son comes over next weekend. Last year, I left it up until March I think LOL.
