Amazon Prime Video now available in Ireland. Should I be excited? Is it worth signing up, or am I looking at another Netflix, with tons of content, most of which I can't access thanks to not being in the USA? EUR 2.99 per month for 6 months then 5.99 after that; doesn't sound bad, but is it worth it? Any advice welcome.

Look up the Amazon Prime shows and let that be the decideder.

I'm sure awhile back. Goofle mentioned a work around for region locked services. I don't remember it or else I would tell you about it again.

All great series that make Prime worth it.

Their website shows me nothing unless I sign up. Looking at the shows available doesn't necessarily mean they'll all be accessible to me here, which is why I was asking.
Yeah it never worked for me. VPNs hate me. One I actually paid for slowed my connection down from approx 300 mbps to something like 7. They refunded me when I told them it was no use to me, in fairness to them, but no, VPNs don't seem to work for me at any rate.
