oh and just so i can double post, same.

unless it's like an action thrillfest i'll pass on the 3d gimmick. i think the last movie i saw in imax was the force awakens which was a good thing because it distracted me from the weak writing.

I thought Interstellar was beautiful, but more promising in theory than in practice. I think it tried to tackle too many major themes and ended up kind of emotionally empty. I love Chris Nolan and Inception is one of my favourite films, but he's not very great at handling emotional moments, which is even more obvious when he tries to write and direct them.

Also that giant stainless steel fridge of a robot is the most impractical AI design I've ever seen and it took me right out of the story.

i will never forgive him for that godawful ending.

inception is better but still pretty overrated in my books.

Memento is his best ofc

Yes, great. Is that really that far of a jump from very good? It's not like the movie doesn't have flaws.

Interstellar is the only Nolan movie I like, exactly because It's a bit more human than his other movies. The guy is a robot.

IT was awesome, I saw the original when it came out (LET ME GET MY CANE, GUYS) and the remake really does make it look like a piece of ****, though, it will always be a classic because of Tim Curry.

Seeing 3D come up here, I hate it, too. I wear glasses in the first place, so, putting those stupid 3D glasses on makes me angry. I don't watch 3D unless someone else wants to do it, which has only been twice. Otherwise, no thanks.
