Super Mario World was great. I went back and beat it with my bro when they re-released it on Wii U. It was pretty hard. Good thing you could save scum with the Virtual Console D:

That and Tropical Freeze have been the hardest platformers in my recent memory, though I haven't played any indie platformers like Super Meat Boy.
