MB Video Game Classics: Banjo-Kazooie
 

So here's the deal. Instead of making you guys do another meaningless task, I figure I'm just going to get this started. Since this is the first thread of it all, I'll be using this opportunity to explain the rules and so on.

Sometime during each week, I'll be choosing 5 games at random and will be putting them into their own threads where we can poll and talk about the game. And at the end of everything, all the games will have been polled and everything will have a rating.

I plan on using every game in the list so we don't miss any. Ill also be choosing each 5 at random so don't feel bad if you're favorite isn't in the current polls.

Anyway, that seems simple enough. So this thread is starting it off with Banjo Kazooie. Feel free to rate, discuss, etc. The next 4 threads will be posted either by tonight or tomorrow.

Played it and the sequel all the time as a kid. Replayed it not too long ago, and it's held up pretty well. Just a fun, solid 3-D platformer with a lot of charm, a good sense of humor, and plenty to do. One of those games that I can't imagine anyone hating, unless platformers wiped out their village or whatever.

It is pretty incredible that we not only received a great game as Banjo Kazooie, but god damn the sequel is also fantastic. Both games I love dearly and have always considered them a couple of the best games on the n64.

You cant spam this forum with every game on the list.. The hell are you thinking?

Im not reading the rules until you add Suikoden 1 to the list.

5 a week is still a lot of threads for this sub which is pretty inactive.

I think you can safely remove all of my picks from the list in order to decrease spam. I didn't really mean for them to be added to the final list anyway - it was just to see if anyone knew & cared about any of those titles.

I can decrease it any time. I asked people from suggestions and nobody spoke up so now I'm doing it the way I thought would work. If it needs to be 3 a week I can do that. Just lemme know.

who keeps giving games 1s

If you'd rather them be off the list, I can take them off but only if youd prefer they not be on the list. Better to remove them now then later.
