I played this one a fair bit back in the day on my original Xbox. This game feels so broken, unbalanced and just generally not fun to play at all. I tried so hard to enjoy the game, but the game world is so boring, the game so buggy and the combat so mind bendingly terrible that it was a miserable time through and through. Not as bad as Oblivion, which is probably the dullest RPG I've ever played (and that's saying something).

People really like this game and I don't really see the magic. I played the hell out of Arena and Daggerfall, though

A sort of mirror-game that dull people find dull, interesting people find interesting, and crazy people find crazy.

A dangerous world with a rich and bizarre culture. A goddess of possibly selfless nobility or possibly spiteful bloody vengeance, leading a brave champion to fight an immortal outcast who may be either a wronged friend or a villain, ultimately killing the heroes that saved and strengthened your homeland in a past life, and destroying your people through your actions in ways you couldn't have seen. Endless spells to create, super potions to brew, limitless possibilities of pushing every piece of the game in as many ways as you can imagine. And that's before you start playing with mods.

As a sneak archer Morrowind unmodded is incredibly disappointing. No crouch toggle? **** off. That's like all I do in those games.

Morrowind has a sneak/crouch toggle. At least, the Xbox GOTY version I played back in the day did.

And, come on, man. Killing the dancer lady and her invisible archer bro outside of Gnisis and using his amulet to basically become Predator was the best.

I have that same version and it does not. I think you were playing it on PC.

Nope, it definitely does. Double click and hold down the left stick (can't remember if that was the default or my remap). It just takes awhile to get used to, 'cause you have to do it just the right way.
