They did fix Doom. And they have a sequel coming out for it. It was literally released a few years ago.

I understand where you're coming from but honestly the reason I like it is because its fun. Doesn't have to match the original to still be great. I'm surprised somebody was able to do an updated Goldeneye multiplayer shooter. That alone is impressive.

That already happened. It was a mode called dominion and it was awesome. It was a 5v5 point capture in a circular arena. Also battlerite kicks ass.
