Certainly one of the more underrated games on the N64.

Sebulba OP

Rewatching that stupid ****ing movie, the pod racing was one of the only things I still liked. Haven't played the game, but it looks fun to me.

I don't even like racing games but this one took months out of my life. I was still young enough to be all about Episode 1 and even today I give it up to pod racing as the best thing about that movie possibly excepting the fight with Darth Maul. Possibly.

The maps were eye candy with enough exploration to encourage replays and the way the pods controlled was fantastically fun. Neva Kee was by far my main with the sick control. His pod was so ridiculously responsive that you could easily slam right into a wall if you weren't careful but it felt like strapping a rocket to your ass and ****ing ruled.



Don't even care if I'm giving out too many 5/5's but this was one of my entries for a ****ing reason.

It gets a 5/5 for me too. I spent years with this game until I finally unlocked Sebulba and that was one of the greatest gaming achievements I've ever done. He is so much fun to use because all his stats are maxed.

It took you years to unlock Sebulba? I don't remember it being hard to unlock all the racers tbh. You confuse me. And Sebulba was okay but Neva Kee and Mars Guo were the stars of that game afaic. Stats were less important than control and Mars Guo controlled like a dream while Neva Kee controlled like the space shuttle but once you got him down he was unstoppable.

There was a pause between when I first played and when i really played it to completion so that's what I mean. It didn't take long to do it all, maybe a few months? I don't remember exactly. I just remember repeating a lot of levels because some of them are pretty tough.

OMG that one invitational sky level was one of the hardest things I've ever done in a game. I never managed to get above second place or maybe even third place. First place on everything else but the game never felt complete cause there was that one race I couldn't get down.

I remember that one and I had the same problem. I don't think I ever beat it either. But just the video gives me flashback of frustration. I bet it'd be a blast to play this game again tho.

I'm getting a serious jones to go buy an N64 off eBay. I never had many games on it anyway so it would give me the chance to finally play Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask.

Oh **** I forgot the first Tony Hawk was on N64! And I never played Conker. And I want to play Rogue Squadron again, omg I loved Rogue Squadron with a passion. And Perfect Dark. Never played Mario 64 either. AND MUFUKKIN GOLDENEYE!!!
