As Bat said, and I fully agree, is that the game did a fantastic job at the horror aspect. I've played through both Outlast 1 and 2, and both Amnesia games, and the fact that you can hear the alien in the vents around you is some of the most terrifying moments I've ever had in a game like this. Don't get me wrong though, the games I mentioned are all fantastic and the first Amnesia is terrifying in its own rights. The sequel is much more story driven but still quite good.
