For comedies, I would say that I am very disappointed with Will Ferrel movie commentaries. He always does stupid shit that ruins them. Like in Step Brothers, he plays music and sings the whole time. and in Anchorman, he just says as many curse words as he can for basically the entire track.

I enjoyed the commentaries for Superbad, 21 Jump Street, 22 Jump Street, The 40 Year Old Virgin and Pineapple Express. All very funny.

I liked Fight Club. It had like 3 [if memory serves me correct] different commentary tracks. One with the actors, one with the director and one with the author of the book. Thought the one with the actors was pieced together, which was disappointing.

I don't think I've ever watched a film commentary all the way through. Kinda forgot it was even a thing.

I like to listen to them sometimes, even if I'm not watching the film.

My TV is too old to make use of the higher resolution anyway, so I just stuck with DVDs.
