So this is basically my favorite game and I was hoping anyone on here played it, and if not it's an easy and fun game to get into so maybe I can convince some people to play with me <3

If you've ever played Magic the Gathering, just think of that except with 30 card decks instead of 60 and a much more fast-paced style of play. You can play and get every card absolutely free so it's awesome for just about anybody that enjoys card games!

There are a few people here that play. I haven't played enough to unlock the class decks yet. I have mage, paladin and rogue I think. Whatever the third deck is that you can unlock.

I've unlocked all the decks but haven't played in about 3 weeks. It's a fun game and I've got a killer mage deck that has been carrying me through.

I'm in a tournament on Saturday called the "Sunshine Open," winning gives me entry at the NA Blizzcon Qualifier which would be absolutely awesome. For anyone that's interested in what tournament-level decklists look like, these are the three decks I've locked in that I'm using:

Are the newest naxx cards legal? from the 5th wing?

Those look like good lists. What deck are you hoping to counter with the paladin deck? Have you considered running a weenie deck to take advantage of the new Avenge secret?

The newest Naxx cards should be legal but I don't find any of them worth using in these decks at least.

I think the Avenge secret can be good in certain Aggro style decks, but tournaments have a much more control-style meta than ladder does and Aggro decks are generally ineffective. That Paladin deck in particular is exceptionally good against other Control decks, as it has a lot of healing and efficient board clears (Wild Pyro+Equality clears any board in the game for 4 mana, disregarding Divine Shield). I can also use Humility/Aldor to essentially negate any beefy minions, making it extremely difficult for opponents to break through my resilient taunts like Belcher and Senjin

Updating this thread because another Hearthstone expansion came out a couple months ago, Goblins versus Gnomes! It changed the game quite a bit.

I think the slight problem at this point though is that if you've never played Hearthstone and want to get into it now...you either spend money or you're not going to be competitive for like 6 months. For people like me who have been around since nearly the beginning, the expansions aren't as big of a deal. But now that there's multiple expansions to consider it's very difficult for new players to get into it.

Arena, arena, arena.. I dumped $100 on cards to get me going intially. I only arena now to keep up. If youre good enough to infinite arena youre set.

Waiting for Dr Boom nerfs before I craft him.
