Thought so. LT is more along the lines of: start the show, dim the lights

Get Smart?

Saulaac 01-04-2023 03:35 PM

Like Mr Bean in his Mini, upon spotting this thread I skidded to a halt on the kerb, scaring a granny, a paperboy and a dustbin.

I think I got a couple (I mean a couple of questions, not a couple of people on the sidewalk)

No. 1 - The TDA (Trollheart Detective Agency) after getting an engaged tone from Ghostbusters and Scooby Doo.
No. 6 - Star Trek
No. 8. - Charlies Angels
No. 12 - The Two Ronnies

No. 2 is tempting. Superman? Batman? Spiderman? Human man?

Another one I use at family gatherings: “Nice to see you, to see you nice.”

Plankton 01-04-2023 03:44 PM

Spoiler for #4:
Xena: WP

No. I mean you were right, but you answered the wrong question. In other words, the show you guessed refers to a different number, higher up the list.

How can you scare a dustbin? :yikes:
Anyway, sorry, all wrong except 12 (well done) but 2 has been guessed already (The Incredible Hulk)

I already have one of those, so I'd like to donate it to the next winner. Should be a decent tax write-off.

1970s - 1980s mostly kid. We had non-flatscreen TVs, no video recorders, no Netflix and no repeat channels. And we lived in a shoe box, sixteen families in one, in the middle of the road. But we were happy. Wait a minute! No, we weren't!

Correct and sooner than you think.

Sorry, prizes are non-transferable. You can, if you wish, have the planet Mars instead. But no cash equivalent is offered. See wesbite for terms and conditions, which are balmy and warm with a chance of early rain in the southeast and snow over high ground.

Plankton 01-05-2023 12:15 PM

Mars? Sure, I suppose. I mean, look how happy these people are:
