Obviously they meant early 20th century. I have some question if you don't mind:
A number of recordings are mentioned in the notes...is the recording you posted the one recording in the water tower?
Do you know how soon after the sinking of the Titanic it was recorded?
Is this 14+ minute track the only one that was recorded or is there more on that CD you showed?
This is an amazing and very moving recording...I'm blown away by how clean it sounds.
I'll have to light up a bowl and listen to it the proper way. :)
