What is your take on Ray Wylie Hubbard?

Based on that tune, I'm not really into the story teller music but it's aiight. Decent vocal timbre, generic rhythm and backing and all that. I played a lot of older Seger and other similar stuff and opened for Heartsfield a few times with an old friend who recently passed. Ray seems like something my old friend would enjoy.
