Mon journal politique

Someone suggested that I should start a political journal, I wasn't initially going to, but since the forum is pretty much dead... here it is.

It shall cover primarily Canada, the U.S, the UK and world affairs.

I'll lay out where I stand on all the major political issues before I start my journal, so the few people who read this can see where I stand beforehand.

Since being right wing has become extremely unfashionable, I'll post a crypto fascist warning when I leave liberal land to join the darkside.

I'll break my philosophy down to

1. General political philosophy
2. Social Issues
3. National identity
4. Economics
5. Foreign policy

then start my journal.

Thanks you might regret that statement though, as I got some right wing Rorschach in my closet, lol, but I haven't become a Tory bastard....yet.

It will be slow coming because of my job, cheers.

I'm perfectly open to right wing economics to an extent. I was a libertarian for the longest, but then lost faith with that group when I realized that those drones were the unofficial wing of talk radio/Fox News. I've had an equal and opposite reaction which has left me more receptive to left wing ideas than I would have otherwise, but really I support Democrats more than Republicans only because of social reasons.

Otherwise I've just become too disinterested in politics in general to bother coming up with a new political ideology to replace the one I've lost. I guess that's my real philosophy: I don't care until it's fun.

Heh, that was in my former life before I fled to Argentina and changed my name to Juan Fernandez.

While I am trying to work out my political philosophy, I highly recommend people to read the article below...

I've been talking about the revolt within the Republican Party and this is the best written piece of work I've seen that explains the Trump phenomenon!

It's written by David Frum, a former speech writer for George Bush, who is now I believe the editor of the Atlantic.

I ask you to look by this, as he knows his stuff and the article is really good, plus he was friends with the late great Christopher Hitchens, so he can't be all that bad :)

Here's the link...
