I’ve never used reddit. Or twitter. Or instagram. And only used FB for like 3 months years ago before realizing how bad it is. There’s another like Instagram or something I never used that either. Or ****ing LinkedIn.

Just read pages 1-25 on my phone, taking notes and text extractions and hyperlinks to content and compiling them into a Google Doc for reference.

Added rich text formatting so that headings will permit me to autopopulate a TOC when I get to page 100.

I think I'll strive for 25 pages at each attempt.

Then I'll tackle the Drone/Ambient Releases thread next.

Life is still packed - I average 25 tasks or projects a day, but I'll get through all your work as soon as I can.

A quick check-in and a word of thanks -

I had to work overtime today but still kept to my pledge to take in 25 pages each day of the weekend so now I'm up to and done with page 50.

Thus far I've compiled 16 pages of notes with uniform formatting, headings, and a TOC indexing your remarks and links to 49 artists' releases.

Page 50 had a delightful surprise that I must call attention to. There you highlighted Alaskan Tapes' Beyond the Streets EP which I've never seen anyone else mention in my travels.

I have his complete discography digitally and a dear friend ordered me one of 100 hand-numbered limited-edition white wax pressings of his first full-length LP to be released on an actual label - You Were Always An Island from 2018.

Really pleased to see someone mention his work.

I have a full week of work ahead after working the weekend but I'll fit in another session of 25 pages as soon as the opportunity presents itself.
