One of the things I was always told when making websites was, take into account that people view them on different browsers, so make sure everyone can read what you've put up, and read it comfortably, or they'll just click and go elsewhere.

You find everything about me to be tedious. My point was valid: if I have to keep scrolling right to get past the huge picture and read the text, chances are I'm not going to bother. Everyone (even you) make sure the pictures aren't too big for the text to be read easily. It's not OCD, it's CFS.*
