Default Need help with the name of a band and song...
Heard this song the other day on the radio... Its a newer song and the singer sounds like queen. It is an alternative/rock band and I can't remember the exact lyrics. But it has something to do with california, the singer is saying lyrics pretty quick, and the chorus has the band saying something like "dream of california" or something.

Please Please help.

Two key things, singer sort of sounds like queen and song has California in the chorus

No I don't even know what the song starts with, I don't know any of the lyrics. I am hoping someone can help. It is a band and the singer sounds like the queen singer. Its alternative/rock and I believe in the chorus he says something about california.

Did you actually check out that RHCP song? Because Californication is a song by a band, with a singer that sounds a bit like Freddy Mercury (a little on that track), he delivers lyrics rather quickly, it is alternative rock, and in the chorus he sings:

...Dream of calIFORRRRRNIIIIICAAAAAAtion

and if you're not expecting the twist on the word it's kind of easy to misinterpret.



If that's not the song then you need to provide a better description or more specific hints because you're describing that one to almost 100% and little else.
